Nebraska Wildflower Soaps

Last year we were fortunate to be awarded a NCR-SARE grant for our innovative idea to plant a ‘profitable pollinator garden,’ using all native Nebraska plants. Our idea was to demonstrate that there are ways for small-scale farmers to create new revenue streams through sustainable projects that promote plant diversity and provide much-needed habitat for pollinators.

Through our research and from listening to our customers, we have come to learn that there is indeed a high demand for locally grown medicinal herbs such as Echinacea purpurea, Echinacea angustifolia, Achillea millefolium, Agastache foeniculum, and Monarda fistulosa. We have long used some of these herbs, such as Common Yarrow, in our body products and were excited at the prospect of experimenting with more variety this winter.

It is with great pleasure that we now roll out our new line of products, Nebraska Wildflower Soaps. These small-batch soaps are made exclusively with native Nebraska flowers and herbs grown on our small acreage. As with all of our soaps, they are vegan and made with only five simple ingredients; coconut oil, olive oil, water, sodium hydroxide and our homegrown herbs. We currently have two varieties of ‘Nebraska Wildflower’ soaps—Wild Bergamot & Purple Coneflower and Yarrow & Red Raspberry Leaf. Order yours today!
