Tea Gardening: Growing, Tasting and Tour June 28th
June 28th 10 AM - 12 PM; $85 per person or $160 for 2 participants
Learn how to grow, harvest, dry, store and brew herbal teas at home. In this two-hour hands-on class, you will:
Learn growing conditions for teas you can grow locally, including tea plants that are native to this area and support our pollinators
Take a tasting tour of multiple locally-grown teas, as we learn how and when to harvest each tea type
Tour the farm to observe growing conditions for different tea plants and watch live demonstrations on harvesting, brewing and drying your tea
Bring a pen and paper to take notes as we will cover a lot of ground during class. Handouts will be provided. Participants will take home a 1 pound selection of fresh herbal teas.
Hosted in partnership with Liz Clary, Master Naturalist and owner at Clary Botanicals LLC.
