This outdoor workshop is part of a series to foster a connection with the seasons (& one another), support local farms & embrace zero-waste design practices.
What to expect:
GUIDED FARM TOUR with Michelle from Benson Bounty on the seasonality of various types of perennials grown on-site.
GUIDED DEMO exploring natural alternatives to floral foam.
SUSTAINABILITY DISCUSSION with Holly from District 2 Floral Studio on designing with Slow Flower values & minimizing waste through supply choices.
LOCALLY GROWN fresh blooms available to create your own floral arrangement. All materials provided.
TAKE-HOME your floral arrangement, along with a gift of handmade Benson Bounty products!

The workshop will be outdoors on unpaved surfaces. If you may need accommodations, we are happy to chat! Please contact us ahead of time and we can tell you more about the setting. Accessible parking available.
CANCELLATION:
Please note that this workshop needs at least 6 participants to host; if we have to cancel due to low attendance, we will reach out the week before. This workshop takes place outdoors; if we have to cancel due to extreme weather, we will reach out in advance to reschedule. If you’re unable to make the rescheduled date, we can refund your workshop fee. Unfortunately, we cannot process a refund for other cancellations. You may gift your spot to a friend/family member, or talk with us about rescheduling your participation to a different workshop that we host on-site. Thank you for understanding!
