Plant Identification Workshop April 12th
Plant Identification Workshop April 12th
April 12th, 10-11:30 AM; $45 per person or $80 for 2 participants
In this hands-on class you’ll learn how to correctly identify plants “in the wild” and get to test out your new skills on a walk around the farm while deepening your connection to the natural world. We will discuss how to identify native, edible and medicinal plants that you might encounter in urban areas, roadsides and natural areas across Eastern Nebraska. We will also cover tips and techniques for getting correct identification through different apps and online databases.
Bring a pen and paper to take notes as we will cover a lot of ground during class! Handouts will be provided.
Hosted in partnership with Liz Clary, Master Naturalist and owner at Clary Botanicals LLC.
