October 11, 10 AM- 12 PM; $85 per person or $160 for 2 participants
This outdoor workshop is part of a series to foster a connection with the seasons & one another, support local farms & explore landfill-diversion design practices.
What to expect:
GUIDED FARM TOUR with Michelle from Benson Bounty on the seasonality of various types of perennials grown on-site.
HANDS-ON WREATH BUNDLING with a guided demonstration to create your own wreath using fresh herbs grown at Benson Bounty.
SUSTAINABILITY DISCUSSION with Holly from District 2 Floral Studio on designing with Slow Flower values & minimizing waste through supply choices.
HANDWOVEN WREATH BASES with locally-grown vines that are also reusable too. All materials provided & are compostable.
TAKE-HOME your 12"-16" herbal wreath, along with a gift of handmade Benson Bounty products!
ACCESSIBILITY:
The workshop will be outdoors on unpaved surfaces. If you may need accommodations, we are happy to chat! Please contact us ahead of time and we can tell you more about the setting. Accessible parking available.
CANCELLATION:
Please note that this workshop needs at least 6 participants to host; if we have to cancel due to low attendance, we will reach out the week before. This workshop takes place outdoors; if we have to cancel due to extreme weather, we will reach out in advance to reschedule. If you’re unable to make the rescheduled date, we can refund your workshop fee. Unfortunately, we cannot process a refund for other cancellations. You may gift your spot to a friend/family member, or talk with us about rescheduling your participation to a different workshop that we host on-site. Thank you for understanding!
