During the day this time of year, it gets visited by lots of pollinators—butterflies, bees & an army of Goldenrod Soldier Beetles! They’re slender, black & orange beetles that absolutely cover the Goldenrod—it’s quite a sight. From what we understand, they’re beneficial insects & feed heavily on pollen, aphids & other pests.
